Robin Kyle Smith (22 October 1967 - 13 August 2022) was a Canadian actor who narrated most US releases of Thomas & Friends video games. He also narrated the directories and bonus features on several US DVDs and voiced Sir Topham Hatt in the Wooden Railway Talking Railway Series until 2009 as well as other pieces of merchandise. His voice register sounds similar to Alec Baldwin since both voices are similar with Sir Topham Hatt. He has also narrated several books, including Diesel 10 Means Trouble on the US version of the Calling All Engines! DVD, Little Engines Can Do BIG Things on the US DVD, Songs from the Station, and A Better View for Gordon and other Thomas the Tank Engine Stories on the US DVD, Track Stars.
Smith died at a hospital in Smiths Falls on 13 August 2022, although an exact cause of death has not been given.

- Smith originally got the role of Sir Topham Hatt following an unsuccessful audition for the role of Mr. Moneybags in a video game adaptation of Monopoly, which Artech director Dick Cooper thought would be a perfect voice for Sir Topham Hatt.[1][2]
- Cranky was his favourite character to voice.[3]
