Rocket Ships[]

A rocket ship is a vehicle that uses rockets to transport people or robotic spacecraft between Earth and outer space.

In the magazine story, A Rocket for Thomas, Thomas collected a big space rocket from Brendam Docks and transported it to the Football Ground at Elsbridge, which was decorated to resemble Mars. The rocket took part in the evening show called "Captain Cosmos Goes to Mars".

In the book, Thomas on the Moon, several rocket ships were on display when Thomas delivered the children visit the space convention.

In the twenty-second series episode, Samson and the Fireworks, Thomas imagined himself as a rocket going to the Moon during a fantasy sequence.
