Roku is a company which makes streaming players and smart TVs. In October 2017, the company introduced The Roku Channel, a network available free of charge for those who own a Roku streaming player or Smart TV, the network currently streams Thomas & Friends on it.
Roku also operates a variety of live TV channels included on their TVs, one of these channels, called Ketchup TV, aired the CGI series of Thomas & Friends before being shut down in 2024. However, the Ketchup TV streaming service remains active showing classic and Hit era episodes along with YouTube productions. Another live channel known as PBS Retro airs the seventh to eleventh series in the half-hour format including some re-narrated sixth series episodes

Trivia
- Many of the episodes in Series 2 have the UK name listed with the US name in brackets. One example is Thomas, Percy and the Coal, listed as "Thomas, Percy and the Coal [Double Trouble]". Several of them are also unrestored and use the UK narration. The latter applies to the following:
- The thumbnail images for Diesel's Devious Deed, Time for Trouble, Granpuff and Sleeping Beauty were taken during a fade transition, meaning that two shots are overlaid on one another.
- Several third, fourth and fifth series episodes use the UK narration.
- Toad Stands By, Something In The Air (briefly), and Snow are both listed twice, once with US narration and again with UK narration. Because of this, Paint Pots and Queens and Rusty and the Boulder are not included on the streaming service.
- Some Series 5 episodes are listed with alternate titles:
- Haunted Henry is listed as "Henry and the Haunted Station", This has since been corrected.
- Toby's Discovery is listed as "Toby Meets an Old Warrior".
- Oliver's Find is listed as "Oliver?s Great Adventure", presumably a misspelling of "Oliver's Great Adventure". This has since been corrected.
- Happy Ever After is listed as "Percy and the Special Present". This has since been corrected
- Make Someone Happy is listed as "James Special Trust", presumably a misspelling of "James' Special Treat".
- Snow is listed as "Skarloey Snowed Under" as the US dub copy
- Series 6 episodes are all presented in 16:9 widescreen.
- A Friend in Need was once listed as "A Friend In Need (Planted Spinoff PT 2)", presumably a misspelling of "A Friend in Need (Planned Spinoff PT 2)". Oddly enough, Jack Jumps In does not have this extra notation denoting that it is the first part of the pilot.
- Edward the Very Useful Engine is listed as "Edward, the Very Useful Engine".
- Bad Day at Castle Loch is listed as "Bad Day and Castle Loch".
- The description for Snow Engine reads, "It?s time for the winter festival, but Oliver doesn?t like the snow." All of the question marks are in the place of apostrophes. This, oddly enough, only seemed to happen with episodes where Oliver has a lead role.
- The Grand Opening is listed with its UK narration and is also in widescreen.
- The trailer for the series on Roku is a clip from Thomas' Frosty Friend, an episode from the tenth series.
- Samson And The Fireworks is titled "Samson's Fear Of Fireworks"
- An Engine of Many Colours is listed as "Thomas and Friends" and had an alternate description for Apology Impossible.
- Series 20-22 episodes are listed in production order.
