A yacht is a medium-sized sailing boat equipped for cruising or racing. Several yachts were once on display at Brendam Docks during the annual Regatta.

EF 431[]
EF 431 is a fishing smack which can be seen at the Fishing Village and the Runby Bridge.

EF 431 is based upon a French sloop that worked in the Bay of Brest.
Livery[]
EF 431's superstructure is painted brown, while its hull is painted light grey with a blue trim along the top, and a black bottom-half, a thin black line runs through the middle of the grey portion of the hull. Its sail is dark blue.

HMS Bounty's Jolly Boat[]
HMS Bounty's Jolly Boat is an old wooden sailing boat.
Biography[]
The old boat used to spend most of its time on the side of the river under the Runby Bridge. On a few occasions, it worked at the the Fishing Village. Sometime later, the wood from the old boat turned out to be useful for fire wood. The old boat was then taken to Brendam Docks, and was kept there until people found the time to chop it up and turn it into fire wood. During its time at Brendam Docks, holiday makers came to take photos of it. Salty had once told Henry why the old boat was kept there, in which the green engine suggested that its mast could be reused as the new flagpole for Callan Castle, as the original flagpole had been broken.

The boat is based on the jolly boat belonging the HMS Bounty, a ship that left England in 1787 to transport bread trees to the Caribbean. However, the crew mutinied in 1789, and Captain William Bligh and 18 loyal sailors were forced to sail the Jolly Boat to safety in Indonesia.

Hanah is a wooden sailing boat that was often moored at the Runby Bridge.

The Mayor's Yacht[]
The Mayor's Yacht is a sailboat belonging to the Mayor of Sodor. Thomas was to take it directly to the Norramby Fishing Village, but he neglected to take the engineer with him to lower the mast, which eventually got caught in the wind. Thomas was blown along with the boat. He eventually went back to Brendam to collect the engineer.

Eastport Prams[]
An Eastport Pram is a small, flat-bottomed boat with a broad transom and a squared-off bow. Prams are typically propelled by pushing them through the water with a long pole, but some can also sail.

Lizzie[]
Lizzie is a small wooden sailing boat, which is used by the Sodor Sailing Club.
When their dinghy was washed out to sea and smashed up, Sir Topham Hatt held a visitor's day at the main station to raise money for the sailing club. It was such a success, that they had enough for a brand new dinghy.
Whilst taking the dinghy to the works to have a name painted on it, Duck breaks down. Luckily, Elizabeth takes the children and their dinghy to the works. In return, the children name the boat "Lizzie", after Elizabeth.

The Old Dinghy[]
The Old Dinghy is a sentient wooden sailboat.
Biography[]
When Duck met the worn-out little dinghy, he challenged him to a race to the big harbour. Duck took great delight in pointing out that he could speed along at miles per hour, while dinghies and yachts merely drift along at knots. As Duck sped along, he did not realise the little dinghy was on his way for repairs and is being pulled along by Gordon. The dinghy laughed and teased Duck as he passed by.
