Salty's Cave is an old cave located near Brendam Docks where Salty sleeps in the magazines.

History

Whilst Salty was delivering new rails, he discovered the cave in a cliffside. Not having a place of his own to sleep like the engines in Tidmouth Sheds, he asked the Fat Controller if rails could be laid into the cave so that he could have a home of his own. The Fat Controller agreed and rails were laid into the cave for Salty.

Trivia

In the television series, the cave is instead replaced with the Sodor Shipping Company building at Brendam Docks as the place where Salty sleeps.
