Schibsted Forlag is media institution in Norway that was founded by Christian Michael Schibsted in 1839.
The company are best known for owning the newspapers "Aftenposten" and "Verdens Gang". They also owned the Sweish newspapers "Aftonbladet", "Fædrelandsvennen", "Bergens Tidende", "Svenska Dagbladet", and "20 minutes" in both Spain and France.
The company were also known for its internet search engines, Sesam and Hitta.se.
The company was the main distributor of Thomas & Friends books in Norway. They stopped producing Thomas & Friends books in 2014. Their last book was Hi, Thomas!.
