Sean Hedges-Quinn was the head sculptor for Thomas & Friends between 2002 and 2008. He was responsible for most of the creation of the faces and figurines. He was also a sculptor for Jack and the Sodor Construction Company.
Trivia[]
- The first character faces he sculpted were Jack and Alfie while the first engine character face he sculpted for was Percy.
- His favourite set of faces he sculpted were Mighty Mac's whereas his least favourite set was the large scale Sir Handel faces.
- He currently is in possession of a assortment of models from the television series including Sir Topham Hatt's unused close up devil costume figure, the earliest finished versions of all the character faces he sculpted and the close-up Elephant Statue among others. Some of these were sold to Twitter user IsaacM6991.
