Shane Richard Acker (born in 1971) is an American film-maker. He is best known for creating the 2005 short "9", which later became a feature film four years later.
He was set to direct the live action movie; The Adventures of Thomas, however production was pushed back due to focus on annual specials. In 2012 the film was cancelled shortly after Mattel bought HiT. [1]
