Shen Valley (Old Valley in Sudric) is a valley west of Shen Ven in the television series. The Peel Godred Branch Line passes through the valley between Abbey and Hawin Lake.
History
Percy took the famous artist here while he was looking for the Spirit of Sodor, but the artist complained that it was too green.[1] When the Fat Controller wanted to have a birthday picnic for Dowager Hatt, Thomas took him here, but the field was too muddy.[2] Later, Thomas took Skarloey here while taking him on a trip around the Island on his way to be repaired.[3]

- In the French dub, the Shen Valley is not referred by the original name, but instead it is referred by the epithet: "La Vallée Jolie" (meaning: The Beautiful Valley).
