Shin Yong-u (신용우, born on 19 March 1976) is a Korean voice actor who joined the Korean voice cast in the twelfth (re-dub) to twenty-third series, as well as the twenty-fourth series episode Thomas and the Royal Engine to voice Thomas. He has also provided voices for various characters in South Korea such as Jackson Storm in "Cars 3", Mr. Big in "Zootopia", Ernesto de la Cruz in "Coco", Danny Phantom in the show of the same name and Rico in "The Penguins of Madagascar".

- He is said to have quit smoking to take care of his throat, and he also tries to abstain from drinking alcohol from an interview. "I always take water with me. I quit smoking. I try to drink less. I can't sing a lot when I go to karaoke. I can't catch a cold. I have to listen to the script, so I can't hurt my hands. I have to look at the script, so my eyes have to be healthy.
