Skiff is a small sailboat who lives on the Island of Sodor.

Skiff is a fun-loving, brave sailboat, willing to take on any new challenge, even if it means a bit of help from his friends. He also appears to suffer from travel-sickness when travelling on flat, dry land.

- Skiff is currently one of the only characters created by former head writer and magazine writer, Andrew Brenner to appear in All Engines Go. The others being Ashima, Yong Bao, and Nia.
- Before making his first appearance in All Engines Go, Skiff first appeared in a Motorized set. This was likely done early in production, as it recycles the red wheels he had in the original series rather than giving him the blue wheels he gains in Skiff Sails Sodor.
- As shown in the episode, Skiff Sails Sodor, Skiff appears to suffer from motion sickness travelling on dry land.
