Plot[]
Slippy Sodor[]
The famous Mr. Bubbles comes to Sodor. All the steam engines and the children on the island are looking forward to his appearance with the giant soap bubbles. Only Thomas can't be really happy. Now, of all times, he is sent to the workshop, where a colourful replacement chimney is fitted. With this new outfit, Thomas feels teased and bullied by everyone and spills the precious special soapy water from Mr. Bubbles.
The Early Bird[]
Thomas gets a dream job from the Fat Controller: Because Percy has to go to the workshop with a broken piston rod, Thomas is allowed to deliver the mail early in the morning. In his over-zeal he announces himself everywhere on the island with loud hoots, so that Mavis, Cranky and the others are tired during the day and make mistakes. Thomas learns what is most important when delivering the mail in the morning: be nice and quiet!
