Sodor Dairy is an industry located alongside the Main Line near Crosby. The dairy not only produces milk, but cheese as well. The stinky Sodor Cheeses are the most famous products made there. They supply milk to all the stations on Sodor.

In real life, the dairy's cows would not be permitted to roam at the trackside and a fence would be needed to separate the railway from the dairy's grounds. This was eventually fixed in the nineteenth series.
- Another change from the nineteen series onwards was the addition of a small chicken farm on the opposite side of the tracks across from the dairy.
