- The mine entrance is redressed from the cliff side tunnel at Lakeside, with the demolished model of the sheds by Duke's Station model nearby.
- The 2014 map of Sodor by former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson incorrectly refers to these mines as being Bertram's Old Mine. Fifth series concept art has since revealed that Bertram's mine was a lead mine.
