Sodor Ice Cream Factory is where all the varieties of ice creams are made. Its most popular brands are strawberry, raspberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. According to former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson's 2014 map of Sodor, it is located south-east of Killdane.

- The visual design of Sodor Ice Cream Factory is directly inspired by Surbiton Station, located in south west London. The station's clock tower is adapted into the factory's chimney.
- The structure for the TrackMaster release of Sodor Ice Cream Factory is based on the Tidmouth Engine Works building rather than the factory itself.
