Sodor Slate Quarry is a quarry located just south of the Blue Mountain Quarry on the northern slope of Shane Dooiney. It first appeared in the sixth series. Mavis has been known to work here.

As of the twelfth series, the quarry shares the same set used for Ffarquhar Quarry.
Since Thomas and Diesel bashed 'Arry and Bert through the back of the shed, it now has rails running straight through it.
