The Sodor Suspension Bridge is a large bridge that proudly spans a gorge and is a major landmark on the Island of Sodor.

Since its last appearance in Thomas & Friends, the Sodor Suspension Bridge has gained notable changes in its design:
- The gorge underneath the bridge is noticeably shallower and has railway lines running through it.
- There is an extra track going down the side of the cliff to the railway lines beneath the bridge.
- The number of tracks on the bridge is reduced from three to two.
  - In the second series episode More Than a Pretty Engine, the bridge has three tracks again.
