Songs and Tales is a Norwegian VHS/DVD featuring one third series episode and one fourth series episode narrated by Trine Lossius Borg, three fifth series episodes narrated by Gro Solemdal and five songs.

The VHS front cover features an image from the fourth series episode, Steam Roller, whilst the back cover features images from the fourth series episodes, Henry and the Elephant and Thomas and the Special Letter. This is presumably because those episodes were featured on the VHS Story and Song Collection, which this VHS is based on.
It is thought that the VHS was released earlier, containing the same episodes as Story and Song Collection. The songs are the same as on the aforementioned VHS.

Goofs

Let's Have a Race is not featured on the DVD release, although it is listed on the back cover.
