Stanley is the fifty-sixth book in the My Thomas Story Library series.
Plot
Stanley arrives on the Island of Sodor to help with the restoration of Great Waterton. Thomas takes an instant dislike to the new engine after he takes his job at Great Waterton and he decides to play a trick on him. The trick soon backfires and when Thomas tries to make up for it, he ends up down a mine. In the end, he makes a new friend in Stanley.
