The Mainland Steamroller[]

The Mainland Steamroller is a grey steamroller who attended a traction engine rally on the Mainland. The steamroller is friends with Trevor.

Basis[]

The steamroller is based on a 1926 Burrell 8-ton steamroller.

Livery[]

The steamroller is primarily painted grey. It has a red firebox and lining. Its flywheel is painted red with a yellow rim, while its front roller is entirely yellow, and its roof is blue. Like the Showman's Engine, it has a black chimney with a copper cap, however it also has an orange spark arrestor on top.

  • In the magazines, the steamroller is described as being sentient despite not having a face. Although, it has a grey smokebox front in the same shade as Trevor's face, indicating it may have been originally illustrated with a face similarly to Flying Thistle.

The Steamroller[]

The Steamroller is a green steamroller which was once brought in to flatten the path out of Wellsworth Vicarage Orchard so that Trevor could attend a fête. The steamroller later accompanied Trevor to the fête and gave extra rides.

The steamroller is based on Trevor's design, however with the front wheels replaced by a roller.

The steamroller is painted dark green with red lining and wheels, a black smokebox and gold boiler bands, identical to Trevor. Its rollers are grey, while their supports are black.
