I would like to point out that in your article about Stanley that it is said he was scrapped after the MSR's closure, according to TIOS, however I have the book myself and it mentions no such thing about him actually being scrapped. Is there any official statement outside of TIOS written by one of the Awdry's to confirm the matter?
