Terence Gets Stuck! is a magazine story.
Plot[]
One day, Terence has been brought in to help at the vicarage orchard. One of Trevor's wheel spokes had cracked and needed mending. Terence begins to boast about his caterpillar tracks to Trevor, which Trevor just ignores. Once Trevor is mended, Terence begins to leave.
Because of how slow Terence moves, the traffic on the road behind him has to wait until the other lane is clear and go around Terence. Terence is about to pull along the side of the road to make it easier for traffic to go through when he suddenly falls into a ditch. Terence tries reversing but one of his caterpillars has come loose and he is unable to get himself out. Terence's driver runs back to the orchard to get help.
Trevor soon arrives and chains are attached between the two vehicles, and Terence is saved in no time. Terence thanks Trevor and has to admit that wheels can be Really Useful too.
