The Biggest Adventure Club is the eighth episode of the first series of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.
Plot[]
Thomas, Percy, and Gordon are working together to pull over an old water tower that has not been used for forty years. Carly and Sandy are there as well, watching the work excitedly. The three trains manage to pull it over and the tower comes crashing to the ground, breaking into many pieces. The five of them all set to work cleaning it up, but Sandy, being the smallest, is having a fair amount of trouble moving the big pieces of debris. While cleaning, Thomas finds stuffed in one of the pipes an old map leading to a place called The Crystal Cave. It was lost years ago and the cave is legendary for being home to the Crystal Locomotive, a strange formation of rock that looks just like a train engine. Thomas, Percy and Carly decide to create a ‘Big Adventure Club’ to find the lost Crystal Cave. Sandy wants to join, but Thomas and the others are afraid that the adventure will be too big and dangerous for a little rail speeder like her. Red in the face and furious, Sandy storms off.
Sandy fumes all the way to Knapford, where she meets Diesel and tells him what happened. Diesel is also upset that he was not invited to be in the ‘Big Adventure Club’. Sandy decides that she and Diesel can be their own club, the ‘Bigger Adventure Club’, and find the cave before the others. Meanwhile, the ‘Big Adventure Club’ are on their way to The Old Mines to start their adventure, not before Carly comments on Percy bringing a snorkel and a Ghost-Scaring Machine just in case. In the mine, despite stumbling a bit, Thomas, Percy and Carly manage to find their way with help from the map. Diesel and Sandy also make their way through the mine, both of their sizes coming in handy in different situations. But their voices echoing through the mine scare the ‘Big Adventure Club’ to the point where they accidentally drop the map.
Eventually, Diesel and Sandy get separated. Diesel manages to meet up with Thomas, Percy and Carly, who are lost without the map and are happy to see him. At first, Diesel is upset because he was not invited into the club, but lightens up once Thomas explains that they would have invited him if he had been there when they had found the map. Diesel then tells them that Sandy is in the mine too and all on her own. Worried for her safety, they go searching for her. But their worries are misplaced as Sandy is completely fine and has even found the Crystal Cave. By following Sandy's lights, the trains manage to find her, the cave, and the Crystal Locomotive. Thomas apologizes to Sandy for not letting her join the club, saying that they have all learned how brave and daring she really is. Thomas officially declares all five of them to be the ‘Biggest Adventure Club’, and with Sandy leading the charge, they make their way out of the mines and back home.

- For unknown reasons, Cartoonito On Demand released the episode 2 days early on 13th September 2021 instead of its scheduled broadcast of 15th September.
- This episode marks the debut of the Biggest Adventure Club.
Goofs[]
- Thomas is missing his bunker at one point when arriving at the Crystal Cave.
- When Percy says " more creepy crawlers" the front of the goggles that he his wearing is blue but the sence after when Carly says "No, sparkly shiners" the front of the goggles is red.
