All of the episodes are restored versions.
All of the DVDs in this collection are rereleases of the Complete Works of Thomas the Tank Engine series.
- However, unlike the standalone releases, the DVDs in this box set contain an English audio option and use restored footage.
The DVD disc art closely matches the art featured on the Complete Works of Thomas the Tank Engine rental-exclusive VHS releases from 2002.
Four golden Capsule Plarail toys and a carry case were included with this release.
On the front cover, Thomas' eyes have been modified to look towards the viewer.
