The Express is an express passenger service train of the North Western Railway. Gordon is best known for having the duty of pulling the train.

Did you know? In The Railway Series, Gordon's role of the pulling the express ended and was later passed down to Pip and Emma, but in Thomas & Friends, Gordon maintains the responsibility - with assistance from Rebecca.
