The Fuel Depot is a large facility on the Island of Sodor where diesel fuel is refined. On former Railway Consultant Sam Wilkinson's 2014 map of Sodor, it is located in the south of Cronk on the Killdane Branch Line, nearby the Brickworks.

Thomas was once sent here to collect new fuel for the diesels after a new batch from the Mainland made them ill.

• The fuel depot building seen in the eighth series was later repurposed as the Balloon Factory.
  • The building was also recreated in CGI by Nitrogen Studios as a generic background building, appearing in several locations.
