The Great Statue Robbery is a magazine story.

Thomas is delivering a statue of an ancient Sudrian hero to Wellsworth when two men flag him down and ask his crew to help them with some cargo in their shed. The crew go inside the shed, but the door is locked behind them and the men take control of Thomas so they can steal the statue. Thomas and his trucks soon pick up on their situation, and Thomas tells the truck behind him to break the coupling, causing Thomas to leave the statue behind with the thieves in his cab. Thomas is soon stopped, and the thieves are apprehended by the police.
