The Headland Line (T&F)

The Headland Line is a line around headlands between Tidmouth and Knapford. It only appears on maps of Sodor produced between the first and third series.

Route[]

Beginning from Tidmouth, the line follows the western coast until it reaches the junction for Duck's Branch Line. Continuing along the Headland Line, the railway swings south-east towards the intermediate station of Lower Tidmouth. From here, the line changes from three tracks to two, continuing south-east under the road bridge where some schoolboys dropped stones on Henry's train and passing Knapford Sheds before reaching the main station at Knapford, where it reconnects with the Main Line.
