The High Bridge is a girder bridge that's on a gorge on the Main Line Loop near Suddery. It's close-by the Sodor Search and Rescue Centre. The bridge crosses the Maura.

Thomas & Friends[]
During the construction of the rescue centre, the bridge was also being assembled. Once during that time, Diesel was being chased by Thomas as the former took conflats of Jobi Wood to the site instead. Unfortunately, Diesel stopped on the incomplete section of the bridge and was left dangling dangerously over the edge, but luckily, Thomas quickly rescued him. The bridge was later finished at the same time as the rescue centre.

Trivia[]
- The set for the unfinished bridge in Misty Island Rescue appears to be a completely different one when compared to the actual Sodor Search and Rescue Centre set. The bridge is instead shown to be by the shore, the Rescue Centre is missing and replaced with more cliffs, and has the tracks leading up to the bridge more visible in the background.
- The Rescue Centre set shows the now finished bridge to be close to the Rescue Centre itself, thus making the bridge further away from the sea. Also, the tracks leading up to the bridge is obscured.
- The unfinished bridge later returns in a fantasy sequence of Thomas Goes to Bollywood.
