Starting from Tidmouth, the line passes by a goods station, behind the engine sheds and underneath a road bridge.[1] The line then travels south-east to Elsbridge, where it connects with services along Thomas' Branch Line. Continuing south-east, it reaches a bend in the line where James derailed into a cow field. Eventually, the line reconnects with the Main Line just west of the Viaduct, where services continue onto Wellsworth.

Beginning at Tidmouth, the line travels northwards, past the goods station, behind the engine sheds and through Tidmouth Town Square before then the line goes through a tunnel. The track then splits off from the Little Western at a junction close to Conrad's Bridge.[2] The line then travels east through the fishing village of Callandale and over a bridge, before reaching Elsbridge, where services connect with Thomas' Branch Line. Afterwards, the line continues east before taking a sharp turn south and reaching the Sodor Construction Company's yard on the outskirts of Crosby town. Further south, the line passes the shed where Elizabeth was abandoned and reconnects with the Main Line at a junction close to the Coal Hopper, where trains travel west to Crosby.
