The Old Guard's Van is a brake van who was converted into a birdhouse in the magazines.
Biography
Whilst clearing up at the harbour, Thomas and Percy come across a miserable old guard's van. But they have a special surprise for him and they take the old guard's van to a bird sanctuary. He was then turned into a birdhouse and a place to hide for the birds.
Personality
The Old Guard's Van is described as somewhat miserable, but since being rescued it seems to have mellowed.
