The Old Tram Car is a double-decker passenger carriage pulled by Ned the horse at the Rare Breeds Centre.
Once, Thomas was taking passengers along his branch line when he discovered the Old Tram Car in the yard at the bus garage. Bertie told Thomas that the tram car was used on the old tramway, long before buses took to the roads. The following day, the Fat Controller told Thomas to take the old tram car's rails to the scrapyards, but Thomas had a better idea and decided to take the old tram car to the Rare Breeds Centre, as it needed more holidaymakers. The tram car was renovated and is now pulled by Ned the horse around the Rare Breeds Centre.

Basis
The old tram car is based on the horse-drawn Tram No. 18 built in 1883 for use on the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway.

The tram car is painted chocolate brown.
