The Sad Story of Henry and Other Stories is a UK VHS release featuring six first series episodes narrated by Ringo Starr. It was one of three tapes originally released in a Watch and Play video pack with a colouring book and pens.

Description

Thomas is a cheeky little engine. He has six small wheels, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome.

Wearing a No. 1 on his side and never letting anyone forget it, Thomas is joined in his adventures on the Island of Sodor by his many engine friends.

Some releases come with a green tape as opposed to the more common black tape.
This is the final release to credit Clearwater Features on the back cover.
This was the last Watch and Play Video released in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The first series release Bumper Special was also released about a month before this release.
