The Secondary Loop Line

The Secondary Loop Line is a line which branches off of the Loop Line near Elsbridge. It is only present on David Mitton's 1991 (Series 3) map of Sodor.

Route and Operations[]

Beginning at Tidmouth, the line travels north towards the New Harbour, before looping sharply south just east of the harbour. It then travels through the low lands, which are prone to flooding as Percy once found out. Continuing south-east, the line crosses under a bridge carrying the Ffarquhar Branch Line before joining with the Loop Line at a junction near the field where James once crashed on his first day.
