The Sheep Field was first introduced in the seventh series, when a large group of sheep escaped from the enclosure and Murdoch had to stop. Toby then brought the farmer and his two dogs to put them back onto the field.
Later on, some sheep broke out of the enclosure again and Philip had to stop Gordon from running into them with the Express.
Nowadays, the field consists of two fields: one, surrounded by a brown fence, contains sixty-eight sheep. The other, next to the first, is surrounded by a white fence and contains at least three cows. There is also a passing loop next to the field.
