- "Thomas? You ok?"
"WAH!" *clearing throat* Just... checking out these supplies! I-I'm not... scared."
"Really? Cause, I am."
"You are?"
"Of course! How are you not scared?"
*sigh* "I'm terrified!" - ― Yong Bao and Thomas
The Tiger Train is the twenty-seventh episode of the first series.
Plot[]
One morning, Thomas travels to Brendam Docks, when he realises that the crossing arms are stuck open. Because of this, he almost crashes into Henry. At the docks, he tries to tell his friends about the crossing arms, but is interrupted when Yong Bao arrives on Bulstrode. The engines plead Yong Bao to tell them about how he got his tiger emblem, before Yong Bao spots Gordon about to crash into James. He quickly rushes to the rescue, almost failing to save the day. Luckily, everyone is safe, and the engines congratulate and praise Yong Bao for his actions. Thomas is then jealous of Yong Bao, so he challenges him to go down Cannonball Curve backwards.
However, before Thomas and Yong Bao even get the chance to go down Cannonball Curve, they hear a loud crash from The Old Mines. When Thomas and Yong Bao arrive, Gordon tells them that there was a large rockslide at the bottom of the mine, and that Sandy and Carly are trapped. Thomas and Yong Bao race into the mines to save Carly and Sandy, but before long they find themselves on a bridge, which crosses a high canyon in the mines. Yong Bao tells Thomas that even he is scared, so Thomas admits to being scared as well. The two cross the bridge, right before the bridge collapses. Thomas and Yong Bao soon find Carly and Sandy, who are trapped behind rocks. Thomas and Yong Bao decide to push the rocks, while Carly and Sandy pull. Carly and Sandy make it out of the rock pile, and the four head out of the mines.
Soon, Thomas, Yong Bao, Carly, and Sandy encounter the bridge again, of which is now collapsed. Thomas quickly thinks of a plan to get over the bridge. He latches Carly's hook to the other side of the bridge, so Sandy can zipline on it. Sandy quickly rebuilds the bridge so Carly and Yong Bao can get across. The four escape the mine to the top of Cannonball Curve. On the mountain, Thomas and Yong Bao find Percy, Nia, Diesel, and Kana. The engines praise Yong Bao for saving Carly and Sandy, before the latter admits that he couldn't have done it without Thomas. Far off, fireworks go off, and a scared Thomas and Yong Bao race down Cannonball Curve, backwards!

- In a clip posted on the official YouTube channel, the description states that Yong Bao saved James from crashing into Henry, even though it was actually Gordon and Henry did not speak in that episode, this could mean Henry was to originally fill that role, or it was confused with the earlier scene where Henry nearly crashed into Thomas in the same area.
