The Unsafe Tree Hill is a hill where an old tree slid down on the track and almost fell over James. It is located between Brendam Docks and Upper Brendam.

While James was pulling a goods train along the hill line, an old tree was being blown by the strong wind and the rain had softened the soil, causing the tree to slowly slide onto the tracks, blocking James' line. Luckily, since James was not able to reverse away from the tree alone, Thomas came and helped James reversing away from the tree before it fell over.
