Trivia

The cover is a blend of the cover art of Thomas' Trackside Tunes and Other Thomas Adventures and the 2002 release of Sing-Along and Stories. The front cover and color scheme is the same as Trackside Tunes, but with Thomas from Sing-Along and Stories in Toby's place with the same music notes from Sing-Along and Stories, while the back cover uses the Magic Railroad promo featured on Trackside Tunes' rear of its box and the Make Someone Happy promo from Sing-Along and Stories.
This VHS is the third and final Blockbuster-exclusive US VHS, the other two being Thomas' Fan Favorite Adventures and Thomas' Useful Stories.

Goof

The back cover description says that all four stories are narrated by George Carlin, but there are three narrated by him and one by Alec Baldwin.
