Steamie Stafford is the first episode of Thomas & Friends Storytime. It was first released on 12th May 2020.

Description

Stafford doesn’t run on coal and water like the steam engines. Instead, he runs off a battery, which is very quiet. So when Stafford overhears some children saying he doesn’t sound like a proper engine, he asks Thomas and Percy to teach him how to make the same chuffing sounds they do.

Description

The Story of Cranky the Crane

The Story of Cranky the Crane is the nineteenth episode of Thomas & Friends Storytime. It was released on 25th August 2020.

Description

Thomas and Percy enjoy working at Brendam Docks until they meet a new bossy crane called Cranky, who is mean and rude to them, and calls the two little engines bugs! When an accident knocks Cranky to the ground, it is the two little engines who come to his rescue.

  • There are some differences from the original episode:
    • Gordon is the one who tells Thomas and Percy to see things from Cranky's point of view instead of James.
    • Thomas and Percy initially protest when Sir Topham Hatt tells them off.
    • Only Gordon and James are trapped in the shed, with Henry and Duck being omitted and Gordon taking the latter's line, "We're sure to be safe in this shed."
    • The ship causes Cranky to topple over first before knocking down the shed.
    • Cranky only admits he is at fault after being rescued by Thomas and Percy.


Thomas the Hero

Thomas the Hero is the twentieth episode of Thomas & Friends Storytime. It was released on 1st September 2020.

Description

When Thomas sees a vintage plane flying overhead, he is fascinated and follows it to the airfield. There he meets many wonderful planes and learns all about the part they played in the war. Thomas wishes he could be a hero too.
