Thomas Goes Fishing is a Step into Reading book.

Plot

Thomas often sees two children fishing in a river on his branch line and wants to go fishing himself but his driver says no. One day Thomas runs out of water and gets water from the river but soon feels something funny roaming around his tanks. The driver stops Thomas and peers inside the tanks only to discover that fish are inside. Soon the children fishing nearby come down to help Thomas clear the fish out.
