Thomas Helps Out is a book written to help children from ages four to six learn mathematics. It was released as part of the Thomas the Tank Engine Learning Programme.
The Story
The Fat Controller is tired, so Thomas lends him a helping hand. First of all, he needs to count Oliver's three trucks, help The Fat Controller sort out some shapes and figure out if Trevor will fit in the shed by measuring him, and then last of all, help him by adding and subtracting trucks. The next day, the Fat Controller thanks Thomas for all of his help.
