Thomas Saves the Day & James and the Express is a promotional UK DVD released by the Sunday Mail newspaper in 2011. The DVD features one first series episode and one eighth series episode.

Episodes

1. Thomas Saves the Day - Thomas struggles with a difficult bend ferrying workmen to the new station and derails his coaches. When a runaway train of troublesome trucks becomes loose and hurtles towards the new station. Thomas is forced to navigate the bend one more time.
2. James and the Express - Gordon the big engine looks silly when the signalman forgets and switches him off the main line on to a loop. James has to pull the express instead, and is very proud.
