Thomas and the Pigs is a magazine story illustrated using photographs from the CGI television series. It was later published in the 2011 Thomas Annual.
Plot
Thomas is given the job of collecting straw for Farmer Trotter's pigs. He decides the newborn piglets might like some milk and apples. So he fills his trucks up with apples and milk, but now there is no room left for the straw. Farmer Trotter is cross and after emptying the trucks, Thomas races back to Farmer McColl's to collect the straw. He arrives back just in time before the piglets are born. Then, much to Thomas' delight, Farmer Trotter names one of the little piglets Thomas.
