Thomas and the Runaway is a German book illustrated using photographs from the television series.
Plot
Fergus loves working at the Cement Works, so when Diesel arrives to take over his duties, he is very upset. Fergus believes that he is no longer needed and frets about being scrapped. Fergus panics and hides in an old siding. Thomas is sent to search to find him and finds him at the siding. When they get back to the yards, the Fat Controller explains that Diesel was just being devious.
