Thomas and the Trucks is the thirteenth Buzz Book based on the first series episode of the same name. It is illustrated using photographs from the television series.
Plot[]
Thomas wants to leave the yards and see the rest of the island, so Edward offeres to give him goods train while he does Thomas' jobs. Thomas pulls the goods train, but ignores Edward's warning about the troublesome trucks. They push Thomas down the hill and they veer into a siding at Maron, where the Fat Controller is waiting for him.

- The pictures on pages 8 and 9 are mirrored.
- This was the only Thomas the Tank Buzz Book out of the first 26 (the Series 1 and 2 ones) to be an original to the Buzz Books, rather than being taken from a Ladybird Book.
