The Thomas the Tank Engine Game is a board game released by Waddingtons. It was originally released in 1986 as the Thomas the Tank Engine Game and featured illustrations based on The Railway Series. When it was rereleased in 1994, it was updated to be based on the Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends television series.
Gameplay[]
Two or more players choose between four different engines in a race from the sheds to the station across various lines. Several junctions on the board are blocked by the Fat Controller and an engine cannot go down the line. However, if the player lands on a yellow space, they can move him to another junction, which can result in them trapping opponents on a loop line. There are also a number of spaces which can help or hinder the player's movement.
