Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends was an educational video game that was originally being developed for the Sony Playstation by Runecraft, with Infogrames as publisher. It was scheduled for a 1999 release date but was cancelled for unknown reasons.

According to lead artist David Tolley, the game did not get very far in development. The only things known to have been made for the game are a few test demos showing the graphics moving around, four character models (Thomas, Toby, Terence and Bertie), a few environments and some planning sheets.
