Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends Cassette 2, also known as Further Adventures of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends is a UK Betamax/VHS featuring thirteen first series episodes narrated by Ringo Starr. It was released under the title Thomas in Trouble and Other Stories for Danish audiences Thomas and Percy for Romanian audiences, and Volume 2 (Thomas and Bertie) for South African audiences.

Description

It's full steam ahead once again for Thomas, the little blue engine with the short stumpy funnel, short stumpy boiler and short stumpy dome. Share 13 exciting new adventures with Thomas and his friends Gordon, Henry, James, Percy, Edward, Toby, Annie and Clarabel the coaches, and of course the Fat Controller.

Thomas's special friend, storyteller Ringo Starr, says "Thomas is a smashing little engine - he's Number One and never lets anyone forget it!"

Trivia

The opening credits are slightly altered for Bertie's nameboard to be featured. A similar tactic was used for The Video Collection and Endeavour Entertainment releases of Coal and other stories.
The front cover of the Romanian DVD uses an image from No Sleep for Cranky.
The South African release features Harold on the front cover.

Goofs

Down the Mine is misnamed "Down the Line" on the back cover of some UK copies.
On the Danish release, Thomas' nameboard is seen before Thomas' Christmas Party.
