Tidmouth Engine Works

Main Page

Tidmouth Engine Works, also known simply as the Works, the Fitter's Yard or the Repair Yard, is a workshop next to Tidmouth Sheds. It was later replaced by the Sodor Steamworks as the main railway workshop and has since been used as a rolling stock storage shed.

The Breakdown Train was once stored here, later being replaced by Rocky until he moved to the Sodor Search and Rescue Centre.

Trivia

Between the third and fifth series, the works building was replaced by a generic warehouse. The works building later returned in Thomas and the Magic Railroad, albeit smaller in size.
