Time-Life is a division founded in 1961, best known for releasing books, music, video/DVD, and multimedia products. Other television shows they released on home video are Get Smart, The Real Ghostbusters, and The Muppet Show produced by Jim Henson Home Entertainment.

Time-Life released eleven Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends videos in the US on November 13, 1993. Their prints of the tapes were only available through a mail-in offer and some are considered very uncommon.

Trivia

  • Some editions were packaged with Buzz Books.
  • Time-Life offered Trust Thomas and Other Stories free for 10 days to any patrons who sent in a free preview certificate, making it the most common of the Time-Life releases.
